About The Position

About Us: XM Cyber is an award-winning startup that develops a multi-platform breach and attack simulation (BAS) solution that continuously exposes attack vectors threatening organizations' critical assets and provides them with prioritized, actionable remediation.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within the Midwest/Central/Mountain/Northeast territories. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our newest cybersecurity solution, ensuring its adoption across businesses and institutions in the region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated Solutions Engineer (SE) and Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify potential clients, tailor product demonstrations, and effectively move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Sales Achievement: Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales quota for the assigned region by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations, understanding their needs, challenges, and future business objectives.
  • Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of our cybersecurity solutions,to effectively demonstrate its value proposition to potential clients.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients, understand industry trends, and gather insights on competitor offerings in the region.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for the region, leveraging company resources and collaborating with internal teams as necessary.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline, regularly updating CRM systems and providing sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Represent Company: Attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and networking events as a brand ambassador, promoting our innovative cybersecurity solution.
  • Feedback Loop: Communicate customer feedback to the product and marketing teams, aiding in product refinement and marketing strategy development.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and technologies to position our solution effectively against competitors.




Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the cybersecurity or IT industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales territories.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity trends and challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region.
  • Familiar with MEDDPIC methodologies and mapping out organizational structures for selling
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Tech Target and Google Suite.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
